Identix ITTS: traceability and telemetry
Traceability & Telemetry Studio is an enterprise IoT platform. It brings RFID, barcodes and sensors into one place, with real-time and historical data for your decisions.
The problem it solves
Operations lose time looking for items, decide on outdated data and juggle systems that do not talk to each other. ITTS puts what was captured, where and when in one place.
- No visibility: nobody knows where things are right now
- Complex compliance: traceability rules need full records, and manual audits are slow
- Losses and inefficiency: manual counts miss items and take days
- Disconnected systems: data stays in silos
One platform, many technologies
ITTS does not depend on a single way of capturing data. It combines the ones your process needs.
RFID UHF Gen2
Bulk reading with no line of sight, hundreds of items per second.
1D and 2D barcodes
QR codes, Data Matrix and GS1 DataBar for identification and traceability.
IoT sensors and GPS
Temperature, humidity, impact and location in real time, with automatic alerts.
NFC and Bluetooth beacons
Short-range interactions, process automation and tailored experiences in controlled places.
How it is built
A multitenant cloud platform: several customers and business units share one environment, with their data kept apart and secure. It scales with containers and microservices.
Devices and edge
RFID readers, scanners, IoT sensors, GPS and gateways process locally, for real-time collection and low latency.
Real-time processing
An EPCIS engine and master data management handle events as they happen.
Central storage
All collected data is kept in one place, with integrity, security and easy access.
Integrations and apps
REST APIs, webhooks, ERP and WMS connectors, dashboards, traceability, simulation and optimization.
Manage the devices too
The same platform takes care of the readers and gateways in the field, wherever they are.
- Remote provisioning: configure many devices at once, with fewer manual errors
- Firmware updates: central control of software on distributed devices
- Central diagnostics: proactive health monitoring, preventive alerts and remote fixes
- Access control and security per customer and site
What you get
Real-time visibility, accurate inventory and a supply chain that explains itself.
- Continuous tracking with a complete movement history
- Automatic location of each item, with RFID and GPS
- Instant status and dynamic alerts for stock-outs, unauthorized moves and anomalies
- Cycle counts without stopping the operation, and fewer gaps between physical and system stock
- Automated receiving, shipping checks against orders, and shipment tracking
- Dashboards with real-time KPIs, custom reports and predictive analysis
Modules
ITTS is the base. On top of it we build modules for the way each operation works.
IRIS
Identix Rain Intelligence Suite: Flow orchestrates logistics, Trace follows every item and Ask answers questions in plain language.
STREAM Gate
RFID, scheduling, weighing and inspection. Automates vehicle entry, exit and location at a terminal.
STREAM Yard
RTLS and telemetry for trailers, terminal tractors, stackers and other yard machines, feeding the terminal system in real time.
STREAM Crane
Real-time monitoring and telemetry of ship-to-shore and yard cranes, including turn times.
STREAM Twin
Digital twins of cranes, trucks and other equipment, for monitoring and planning.
STREAM stands for Smart Terminal Real-time Events, Automation & Monitoring.
Questions we hear
Does it replace my ERP or WMS?
Not the ERP: ITTS works alongside it through APIs, webhooks and connectors. The WMS depends on your operation: many flows can run on IRIS, which can replace it, while specialized ones keep it and receive the data.
Does it only work with RFID?
No. RFID is one of the ways in. It also takes barcodes, IoT sensors, GPS, NFC and Bluetooth beacons.
Is it a product I can buy off the shelf?
It is delivered as a project. We adapt rules, alerts and workflows to your operation, and choose the capture that fits.
Which readers does it use?
Identix readers, handhelds and gateways, which send data through CONNECTIX, and equipment from other makers where the project calls for it.
