Use cases

One platform, many cases: items, assets, sensors and packaging. These are projects we have delivered, described without naming customers.

Inventory in real time

ExitView pedestals on the sales floor of a fashion store

Apparel retail

Continuous inventory by location, route, vehicle or operation, with no periodic manual count. Entries and exits are recorded on their own, the full history is there for audits, and open APIs connect the ERP, the WMS and automatic replenishment. Fewer manual counts, fewer discrepancies and faster decisions.

Assets and location

Medical equipment in a public hospital network

Each asset is linked to a place, an area, a cost center or a person in charge. The last read and the full movement history can be queried for each item, which helps audits and the search for missing equipment. Alerts flag long stays, unauthorized exits and route deviations.

Sensors and telemetry

Hospital nurse station with clean corridors and monitoring desk

Intensive care units

Sensor data and location in the same back end. Temperature, equipment status and critical events are monitored all the time, with the full history in dashboards that reveal patterns and trigger automatic alerts.

Container terminal with cranes, trucks and stacked containers

Container terminal

A gateway with CONNECTIX, MQTT and Bluetooth collects telemetry from trucks and identifies drivers by a Bluetooth badge. It reads CAN (SAE J1939), Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and MQTT in the same gateway, with analytics on board.

Returnable packaging

Wooden crates filled with beetroot, cabbage, celeriac and sweet potatoes

Rented plastic crates for fruit and vegetables

End-to-end traceability for a fleet of rented crates, with life-cycle, loss and billing control. Each crate has a unique identity through RFID, following GS1 standards. EPCIS events record dispatch to the customer, return, cleaning and re-entry into the fleet, and give a base for automatic billing for late return, loss, damage and extra use.

  • 100%fleet visibility
  • -60%fewer losses and non-returns
  • +45%faster return to the cycle

Finished goods

Tableware manufacturer

UHF RFID tags go on boxes and packages on the production line, which gives traceability from the start. RFID portals at the docks check the loaded packages on their own, cut the gap between invoice and physical load, and speed up shipping. The cycle count that took hours by hand now takes minutes with handhelds.

By industry

Logistics

Receiving in a minute per truck with bulk reads, real-time tracking with RFID, GPS and IoT, and route optimization from historical and live data.

Manufacturing

Automatic tracking of components, a complete production history recorded as EPCIS events, and documents for standards such as ISO 9001 and IATF 16949.

Retail

Cycle counts that keep stock accurate, smart fitting rooms and shelves, self-checkout and exit monitoring to cut losses.
