SAM series
RAIN RFID System-on-Modules with programmable output up to +33 dBm

Multiregional RAIN RFID System-on-Modules on Impinj Ex10 chips, with Wi-Fi and BLE. The three models share hardware and differ in sensitivity and read rate.
Choose your model
You want your own application to run on the module itself, with no host processor, or to talk to the chip directly. 32 x 36 x 4 mm, 250 tags/s, band set by software.
Details →Your own application runs on the module and has to handle more tags, faster. 700 tags/s and -82 dBm sensitivity in 32 x 36 x 4 mm. The middle of the SAM line.
Details →Your own firmware must run on the module and keep up with fast traffic. Top of the SAM line: 1,100 tags/s and -86 dBm sensitivity in 32 x 36 x 4 mm, no host needed.

Questions we hear
Do I need a separate host?
No. A dual-core MCU runs your application on the module. You can also bypass it to reach the Impinj chip directly, or add an external host.
What connections does it offer?
USB, two SPI, I2C, two UART and 8 GPIOs, plus Wi-Fi 802.11n and Bluetooth 5 on board. It runs on 5 V.
