Choose it when

You check several items at once at a checkout or verification station and want a bigger antenna built in. It lies flat, 20 mm thick, and runs from one USB cable.

Need Ethernet and PoE, or external antennas? Choose the DR-max. Need the thinnest body, 10 mm? Choose the DR-mini.

Features

  • 315 x 220 x 20 mm, about 350 g
  • Built-in circular antenna, 8.5 dBiC far-field gain
  • +27 dBm output (LT version: +23 dBm), -75 dBm sensitivity, 250 tags/s
  • USB, Wi-Fi 802.11n and BLE 5 connectivity
  • Keyboard emulation over USB HID or BLE
  • Optical sensor triggers reads; RGB LED and buzzer confirm them
  • IP54 housing with E-fuse overvoltage and overcurrent protection

Questions we hear

How do I connect it?

One USB cable carries power and data. It also has Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, and it can type tags like a keyboard over USB.

Can it go inside a portal?

Yes. Portal Slim is made for the DR-pad. The reader is sold separately from the portal.
