The EZ500 is an industrial fixed reader built for dense tag environments, with Dense Reader Mode and Self Jamming Cancelation. It delivers up to +31.5 dBm, -82 dBm sensitivity and 700 tags/s.

Choose it when

You read at a busy industrial spot, such as a conveyor or a forklift, with many tags close together. Four TNC ports, dense-reader mode and up to 700 tags/s.

Need the fastest reads? The EZ700 reaches 1,100 tags/s and +33 dBm. A few tags at a counter? A DR reader fits better.

Questions we hear

What power does it accept?

PoE (802.3af/at) or 9 to 28 V DC. Data goes over Ethernet, USB, RS-232, Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. Two inputs and four outputs connect sensors and lights.

What do I buy with it?

Antennas and RF cables. The ports are TNC while Identix antennas have SMA connectors, so choose cables with the right ends. Identix does not supply tags.
