EZ700
Part of the EZ series
Industrial RAIN RFID reader with +33 dBm and 1,100 tags/s

The EZ700 is the top EZ model: +33 dBm output, -86 dBm sensitivity and up to 1,100 tags/s, against 700 on the EZ500. Same four TNC ports, DRM and SJC, in the same 115 x 120 x 33 mm body.
You need the fastest fixed reader: heavy conveyor traffic, packed pallets or a crowded radio environment. Up to 1,100 tags/s and +33 dBm, with four TNC ports.
Moderate volume? The EZ500 has the same body and ports, at up to 700 tags/s. A few tags at a counter? Choose a DR reader.
Features
- 15 W consumption at +33 dBm
- Four TNC ports for external antennas
- Dense Reader Mode and Self Jamming Cancelation for crowded RF environments
- GEN2X Toolbox with M800 tags: faster tag-of-interest inventory
- PoE (802.3af/at) or 9-28 V DC; Ethernet, USB, RS-232
- Two opto-isolated GPIs; four GPOs with software-set voltage
- Wi-Fi 802.11n, BLE 5, two RGB LEDs, 110 dB buzzer, IP54
Applications
- High-volume conveyor read points
- Forklift load tracking
- Dense tag environments

Questions we hear
How does it differ from the EZ500?
Same body, ports and features. The EZ700 adds +33 dBm (EZ500: +31.5), -86 dBm sensitivity (EZ500: -82) and up to 1,100 tags/s (EZ500: 700).
What do I need to run it?
PoE or a 9 to 28 V DC supply, up to four antennas with RF cables, and a network or USB link. It draws 15 W at +33 dBm. Identix does not supply tags.
