SAM300

SAM300
Part of the SAM series
RAIN RFID module that runs your code, 250 tags/s

The SAM300 is a 32 x 36 x 4 mm RAIN RFID module with a dual-core MCU that runs custom applications without an external host. Impinj Ex10 chip, -75 dBm sensitivity, up to 250 tags/s.
You want your own application to run on the module itself, with no host processor, or to talk to the chip directly. 32 x 36 x 4 mm, 250 tags/s, band set by software.
Want to prototype on a Raspberry Pi first? Start with a SAMDK board. Need more speed? The SAM500 reads 700 tags/s.

Questions we hear
Do I need a separate host?
No. A dual-core MCU runs your application on the module. You can also bypass it to reach the Impinj chip directly, or add an external host.
What connections does it offer?
USB, two SPI, I2C, two UART and 8 GPIOs, plus Wi-Fi 802.11n and Bluetooth 5 on board. It runs on 5 V.
