SAMDK-300

SAMDK-300
Part of the SAMDK series
Raspberry Pi carrier board with Impinj E310 RAIN RFID reader

The SAMDK-300 turns a Raspberry Pi into a RAIN RFID reader. One 9 to 28 V supply feeds board and Pi. It reaches +30 dBm, -75 dBm sensitivity and 250 tags/s, the entry level of the SAMDK line.
You are prototyping a reader on a Raspberry Pi, or building a small reader that runs your own app. Four antenna ports, up to +30 dBm, 250 tags/s. The entry level of the SAMDK line.
Need a finished reader to install? Choose the EM300 or an EZ model. Need more speed on a Pi? The SAMDK-500 reads 700 tags/s.

Questions we hear
What do I need besides the board?
A Raspberry Pi, one 9 to 28 V supply for both, and antennas. The board talks to the Pi over I2C, UART or SPI. Identix does not supply tags.
Does it have wireless?
Yes. Wi-Fi and Bluetooth LE come from the module's ESP32-S3, and software can turn them off.
